

Often this can be one of the hardest questions and it's a scary question if you really don't know the answer or think you know but don't like the look so you try not to think about it and hence never really stop and ask yourself this question. One can be afraid of what one will find out so they'd rather just ignore it and hope for the best or just worry and worry without taking any action. It's just like not getting a doctors check up don't go so you don't have to find out potential bad news plus being told you might need to change something that you're currently quite happy doing. i.e. lifestyle.
But I can tell you if you don't ask this big question then you will find out anyway but only when it's too late to do something about it. Just like the doctor you can sit and hope but later you may find out that you're riddled with cancer and it's too late for treatment instead of catching it early while you have the chance to do something about it.
Right now you have the chance to do something which will affect your future one way or the other, good or bad. So where are you heading?
First look into your past.
The best way to predict your future is to first look at your past and from looking into your past can you see patterns once you see patterns, patterns mean probability thus the probability of you doing more of the same is in the future is likely.
It's just like a yo yo dieter you can predict that weight will be lost on a severe diet and more weight will be gained when you come off and return to your old eating habits. Based on the past patterns the probabilities is extremely high. Unless there is evidence of a real lesson learned and thus information that will change that pattern.
So what patterns do you have in your life? Stop and think what 'always' happens? Once you see these can you see what's going to happen. SO if you've had great success that things always work out you can be positive that will continue unless you change the recipe or the environment changes and you can't or haven't adapted with that change. So this goes for negative patterns of behaviour and events in your life too, you have to put a spanner in the works to change it otherwise more like than not it will happen again.
Second is to get into the drivers seat!
If you want some control in where you are going in your life you have to get into the drivers seat and not be afraid to drive! You can't just float along in hope hence you need to as this big question - where is my life going? Based on my previous patterns I can predict more of them in my future. Now you need to ask yourself do I want more of what I already have and have had? Now I can pretty much say you'll say no (or you're very pro-active!) I don't for otherwise you wouldn't be reading this right now and wondering where you life is going you would be happy and content in your life and positive about your future.
So if you're not happy with this vision then you have to do something to change it and you can't just think about it, you can't just say I've thought about it, I intend to find it you must drive and driving requires you to put your foot on the accelerator and steer.
When you're clear on what you don't want write down what you do want or want more of. To know where you're heading and thus driving you need to know your end destination. What do you want to achieve in your life by the end of your life?
The most common thing people who come to us for help is that they just want to be happy doing something that they're passionate about that's their special thing and contribution to this world, to find and fulfill and enjoy living their purpose in life and not look back with regrets that they life passed them by.
