

Attention means focus and commitment and is the power of mental concentration. It is a subjective awareness directed to an object. We create our life out of the things to which we give our attention. And you attract into your life more of what you put your attention on. All of us give attention to something in every waking moment of the day so you might like to ask yourself - what is your attention on?
Life changes when the object of your attention becomes your conscious choice. If your attention is on all the things you don't have, all the problems in your life, all the BAD things that are happening to you then you are creating more of that. If you want more problems, more challenges, more unhappiness, then give attention to those things. If you want more passion, fulfillment and joy in your life, then give your attention to the things that create those feelings.
To discover where you attention is all day you only have to look at your actions and your results. If you have a poor personal relationship chances are you haven't paid it enough attention. If your business isn't growing like you want it to what are you doing to make that happen? And if your body is not like you want it, fit and bursting with health and vitality then chances are you haven't paid it much attention either.
The same rule applies for paying your attention to positive or negative things. A single negative thought, one that you know won't serve you to think about but if you keep paying it your attention (while you're supposed to be working or speaking with someone or thinking about something else much more positive) it will just grow, and grow until it's bothering you so much, you've lost focus, the worst has happened instead of redirecting your attention to something that you want to grow!
And for an extra bonus don't forget to focus your attention to the present moment!
